Till about a few years ago, barely anyone knew what the word gluten meant, let alone gave any thought to avoiding it. But now gluten-free diet menus are all the rage, many celebrities such as Kourtney Kardashian, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Gwyneth Paltrow have been linked to the gluten-free diet lifestyle. While some are following a strict gluten free diet to stay healthy some have to follow this diet because of their intolerance to a certain protein called Gluten. Many well known people, like, Novak Djokovic, Victoria Beckham, Chelsea Clinton etc are Gluten Intolerants. Gluten a kind of protein, found in many grains like wheat, rye, and barley, and if consumed it can lead to widespread inflammation in the gut and other problems like acute diarrhoea (i suffered from this particular problem), joint pain, fatigue, and anemia, and if left untreated the condition can be life-threatening. There is no cure for gluten problem, and most people deal with this by discarding gluten from their diets. To people with a chronic digestive disorder called celiac disease, gluten is a kryptonite even a tiny bit of this can cause huge health problems.
