Gluten-free baked yogurt with fresh strawberry sauce

Cooking Time: 20-25 mins

Total: 35 mins approx

Serves: 4 People

 

Ingredients:

For Baked Yogurt:

  • Plain yogurt: 1 1/2 cups
  • Condensed milk: 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence: a few drops ( try using fresh vanilla as it is Gluten free)

 

Topping:

  • Fresh strawberries: 8-10 cut into chunks
  • Sugar:1 tsp (Just to kill the sharp acidity of strawberries)
  • Water:1/3 cup

 

Method:

Whisk together the yogurt, the condensed milk and vanilla till they become smooth. This will take 3-5 minutes.

Transfer them into small ramekins and whatever small containers you have for baking.

No need to preheat the oven.

Just bake @ 180C for  20-25 mins.

 

Make the strawberry topping sauce:

In a pan, add the strawberry chunks.

Then add a bit of water. Cook them together till the strawberries turn mushy almost marmalade like.

Add sugar if required.

 

Layering:

Your yogurt is baked. Top it with some strawberry sauce. Put in the fridge for an hour or 2.

Serve chilled.
